what do you think about this turbo kit??
dont know much about the different turbo sizes, how will this kit perform against the stock twins, the price seems awfully low for a single kit, how hard would it be to find the oil lines?

other than it beginning to spool at 8k in 3rd gear, it'll be just fine
PM lt1project He's got the T66, and it's bad enough.
Oil lines can be purchased from any mustang-muscle shop. They're no problem.
If you're for all-about drag, then by all means, but if you still like to drive on the street and actually enjoy youself, go smaller.
I've got the 60-1. It's at 15lb at 3800 rpm in every gear (first is slightly less, though)

so, it spools slower than a t-78?
Ive got a friend that has a 60-1 on his FD. I think that it is probably the best all around turbo for the FD.
i was just amazed by the price of the kit

I would compare it to a T-78. I did a custom kit for under $2k. You may be well off getting the kit, and swapping turbos.
BARE IN MIND: that the kit DID NOT come with a downpipe, which will run at least a couple hundred to fabricate. at least.

There are a few other parts to a turbo kit: oil lines $100, oil inlet and outlet flanges $30, t4 gasket, dp (vband $80, 3 inch flange $20, then the pipe itself $150), custom IC pipe ($60) , blow off valve $150, nuts, washers, bolts, couplers and clamps. intake filter, block off plates. Maybe even more...people never really mention all the misc stuff but it can be a pain to get and the $ adds up fast. Plus the installation and you'll need larger injectors/fuel pump, ecu and ic minimum. Thats if you don't alreay have this stuff
