What to do with rear turbo oil return on block when converting to single turbo?
I'm in the middle of a single turbo install. I'm wondering what to do with the rear oil feed.
I was hoping someone knew of a vendor that sold some sort of fitting like that referenced
in the Reagan Rotary Racing single turbo install page:
If not, how did you plug this now unneeded oil line? Thanks.

Banzai Racing sells block off plates, to include one for this purpose.
For track use I'm going to 'modify' mine to accept a 1/4 inch barbed fitting, so that I can vent my oil pan from the passenger side of the block.

It is cheaper to make your own blocking plate, and you will learn a little metal working skills.
Or run a snorkel pipe on it with a filter to vent blow-by to atmosphere.

FWIW this is the vent I attempted to use. I'll tell ya know it won't work as a return nor possibly as a vent if you use a line that small. -4 is way to small. What will happen is you will get a slug of oil in the line. The line diameter and the length of the line coupled with the viscosity of the oil will not allow the oil to drain back into the pan due to capillary effects if the line is vented to atmosphere. All it will do is continually pump oil *out* of the pan due to oil pan pressure. You want to vent the oil pan you will need a line MUCH bigger than -4. Just look at the size of the stock oil drain from the rear turbo and it's a relatively short run of pipe. I have a catch can that now uses a -8 line to the oil filler neck. Oh and I simply use a block off plate now for that rear drain.
