what do i need to go single turbo

i have an fd and want to go single turbo (im really interested in turbonetics), i already have a front mount, my fuel system is already upgraded, ignition. and pretty much every other bolt on imaginable. my twins are non-sequential, and im looking for the most cost effective way of converting to single. so what aside from the turbo what all do i need to replace.

Turbo, manifold, DP and all lines and fittings. Make sure that your upgraded fuel system is up to it (1600's and 550's/850's and a good pump). It is pretty easy if you already have every other bolt on.

The most important thing is the EFI system used, DirtyJerz. Without it, it will never run the engine properly at the higher loads for any semblence of reliability.

yeah i forgot to mention power fc w/controller. im tryin to hit mid/low 11's without sacrificing reliability (i put in vented hood, koyo radiator and some flex-a-lite fans are comin up). my twins are leakin oil like crazy and i know theyre not worth rebuilding, do i need single or should i stay with twins (non seq) or go with upgraded twins (which ones are good)

Go single. As stated before; turbo, manifold, downpipe, oil lines and fittings, intercooler piping, air inlet piping/filter, and retuning.

Going to need a wastegate also...

You should do clutch, suspension, and tires also...

already running act street strip clutch, unorthodox lightweight flywheel. anyway, so a single turbo upgrade wouldnt be over kill to hit 11's. i mean i hear its common on twins and i figure with all my upgrades i should have a shot. and stupid question: ii guess i cant use current wastegate, intercooler piping, 3in. downpipe/midpipe, or air intake/filter. and say i did go with like BnR or another set of twins would i need anything

Just go single as many have stated before. you are going to have to get intercooler pipes made and a greddy elbow, and fitted to the new turbo setup, block off oil return passage, etc... Most turbo kits come with the dp, manifold, wastegate, lines, fittings, etc..expect to pay around 2-5 grand just on the turbo kit depending on what you get. As far as fuel, recommend 1600cc secondary with fuel rail, 550cc or 850cc primary, upgraded pump, regulator. Another issue is how old is your motor, if its tired you might want to have it rebuilt at the same time. Going single eliminates all the vaccum mess, back pressue, and will be more efficient at making power at high boost. Then factor in the labor and tuning costs. Good luck

dirtyjerzusmc, nice car!

You car is a good candidate for going single, you have most of the **** you'll need. With all of your mods you can probably get away with <4k for everything. Good turbo kits are getting cheaper (much less than 3k depending on the kit). Conservatively figure 1k-1.5k for **** you forgot about (pipes, clutch, tuning, fuel pump, etc.). good luck.
