What BG would be equivilant to a Garrett T04E
Due to their lower price, I am thinking of picking up a Borg Warner turbo for my build. Right now, the turbo that meets my power goals and spool is a 57 or 60 trim T04E with a .84 divided hotside. What BG turbo would be equivilant to that.
My goals are 375 - 400whp with a semi-fast spool up. We're talking like 3500 or less for one bar (approx 15psi)

57 trim T04E will never hit 400whp. 350whp is pushing it. Even a 60 trim maxes out at roughly 50lbs/min, which would net you 400 flywheel HP on a good day. If you want that kind of power with excellent spool, you won't be able to cheap out, your best bet would be a ball-bearing 35r.

Are you sure? I've heard from a few sources on here that a 60 trim will be close to 380ish to the wheels...
Regardless, I can't afford a 35r right now... I will research some other options.

possibly, I don't have any experience with it, but again, it will flow up to 50 lbs/min, it would depend on your porting, etc. Your goals., I just purchased a Precision SC 6152E off ebay for under $300 shipped, my plan being to strip the compressor wheel (which is the same wheel as the 35R) and the 0.60 Comp housing and put it on my old turbo. Should have similar spool to a 60 trim, but enough top end to put out nearly what a 35R will. (slightly less due to the smaller compressor housing) This setup is internally gated (I will need to port the **** out of it!), easy to setup, and was fairly cheap to come by.
