Wet or Dry CHRA

List,
Is it really neceary to run both water and oil lines for a Turbo. I've order a turbo and it only came dry.

What are the benefits. This is for a street driven and sometimes track/drag.

Water keeps the CHRA section cooler. Its not nesserary but is benfitial because your bearings will remain cooler and its real benefits are when you turn the engine off. It will keep your turbo bearings from coke-ing.....or getting a burt oil resin build up on bearing which shortens life. As long as you let your engine run for several minutes before you shut it off your turbo will be fine with a dry center. But I'd always recomend the wet CHRA for maximum durability and longevity.
