V-Mount Intercoolers... For single turbos

forcing all the air throught he radiator and the IC, i get it.
one more newbie question, do the IC and the radiator have seperate obs? like does the radiator coolthe water and the IC cool the turbos and oil?

what about an a2w intercooler/aftercooler (whichever you guys use)? i've only seen people use these in drag racing and there are a few cars with aftercoolers stock such as the celica all trac/gt-4. i dont know much about a2w intercoolers and their long term effects but they seem to do really well if being used for short periods of time while providing good cooling. but the fact that other types of car racing doesnt use this type of cooler leads me to believe that it wouldnt hold up in the long run. anyone have good info on this?

About stuffed-V being better than Front.
I imagine it's good for oversizing the radiators* which may not permit good ambient flow, but does allow transient boost advantage with extra radiator mass.
I might wager, what heat exchanging is gained in un-stacking the radiators to expose fronts to incoming ambient air is countered by reduced cross-section because the air dams at the steep detours at the radiator plates. This might be useful if the rear ambient ducting of the radiator is drafted to a low-pressure exit such as an enormous hood vent or both fender wells.
About an intercooler: I'll probably get a very thick >4"H (Depth) custom front intercooler before a beak mount. However, if I virtually stole a giant intercooler that did not quite fit in length x width in the grille, such as a PowerStroke diesel cooler, I'd try to wedge it down like the V styles.
I will be ducting hot ambient air aft of each exchanger away from others out sideways or up, and not dump it into the engine bay, so I'll think about this chicken-beak design.
*also intercooler
-chicken beak? I'm renaming the layout. Why "chicken", it pisses the Vagina-mount proponents.
