Update on my smoking 7
Update on my smoking 7
Well, I finally got my oil lines finished. -4an feed and -10an return. The car still smokes at startup, but it disappears after it is warmed up and idling.
However, when I rev the engine up, back comes the smoke. I have the cap off of my oil filler neck and both nipples vented to atmosphere, but it would seem that its not good enough. I'm going to install my catch can and connect it to my TID to see if that helps any.
If I connect one side of the can to the oil filler neck and the other to my TID, do I need a PCV between the catch can and the TID? Or is that only if I cap off the unused nipple on the filler neck. Keep in mind that this is a Greddy catch can and it is totally sealed except for the inlet and outlet so there is no breather.
Once that is in if the problem is still there, I'll try out a restictor on the oil feed.
Also, what is the average oil pressure for an upgraded single on an FC?
