two supra pumps?

do you think that would be enough? if I had dual supra pumps, would that satisfy the trustiest turbo. just getting ready to do my fuel mods and want to do them right the first time.

To produce around 480rwhp at 18psi you need approximately 217L/hr of capacity with 73psi of line pressure (40psi base+15 line resistence+18psi). According to a pump dyno test performed by RC engineering the supra pump will flow 225L/Hr at 73psi of pressure and 13.5v of power. One pump seems like enough to me, but I would be happy with 400-450rwhp.

So a single pump would be enough? is it internal or external? Easy to hook up?
I'm losing a little fuel pressure at top end on my current RP fuel pump.

You can go with a walbro high pressure 255 pump, for around 100 dollars. Or to be safe, just by an aeromotive external pump.

Either a Supra pump, or a GS114 Walbro. The Walbro will live longer at 12+ volts than the Supra pump. Both should be used with a 1:1 RRFPR. Carl

I think Ralph at Xcessive Motorsports is running dual supra pumps. If I remember correctly I think he is getting like 550 hp.

Doing right the first time.....go with the Aeromotive pump they make an intake type that is supposedly good to 6-700hp. Are you planing on using stock lines?

Do you have a copy of that test? I seem to remember it dropping off more than that, but I'm not sure.

Tyson as an aside, the stock Supra fuel system can flow enough fuel through 6-550cc injectors for ~550whp@about 95-98% duty cycle.

Found an old link where a Stealth guy did some extensive research on the subject. Looks like I was dreaming it or something, the Supra pump looks good. For some reason I thought they dropped off really bad at high pressure. Guess I won't have to get rid of mine after all!!

Ralph at ground zero motorsports is running a magnaflow pump. for now I'm using a supra pump and am setting up my stocker to be used as an auxiliary pump at the tip of my finger, set up with a switch.

I was just down there two weeks ago and talk to him about it, heard it, and saw it. its a magnaflow, big and loud. I kind of like that sound of the pump.

I can verify that Ralph is INDEED using a Magnaflow fuel pump on his FD, but I think he owns a Supra too, so he might be using two pumps on that car. I think its similar to the pic that I attached.

One stock Supra pump can support 500rwhp. Two is perfect. You can't go wrong with this setup.

I'm having ralph tune my car when I get done putting everything back together, and those pumps are in.

t-88 you should come down there when I go, its really cool to see the shop, and you learn a lot also. ralph is a really cool guy and very down to earth. last time I was there rob from pineapple came over and shot the **** for a while. I'm not sure what exactly he has in the supra, its a beast tho. making something like 900 horse. he's going to put 1200 to the ground when hes all done.
