Turbonetics t-76 with 0.96 hotside a/r ?

I m thinking to order Turbonetics T-76 with 0.96 hotside a/r ( fd for drag racing ) , but to many friends they told me that is impossible to produce 500+hp with this set up .
Is that correct ?
mods :
street porting
3mm seals
motec ecu
etc......
max boost 20psi !

good luck spooling a t-76... Also that set up should be well above 500 hp.... but if 500 is your goal, seriously go with a smaller turbo, a t70 would get the job done just fine if max is 20 poulds.

That turbo is good for ~1000rwhp on a Supra, so it is waaaayyyy overkill, you could spool it, since a Supra can, but why???

I agree go with a smaller T-70 or even T-72... Many drag racers even run smaller turbos like T-66's..

20 PSI wont get You even close to the efficiency range. Try the T-72 or T-66.

carl byck o.k, but i dont want to run with more than 20 psi !
so , the better choice is something like t-70 ,with 1.0 a/r i think !
Do you agree , guys ?

hey isn't it really the volume of air that will kill the motor? cause if it's not why not just get the biggest and run it on low boost?
