i have seen good numbers from this turbo and am in the process of finishing an FD here in the shop with a GTK1000.

it should do exceptionally well on a 20B

I just recived my GTK 850, i will post pic soon.
It's for replace my T70 Turbonetics. This GTK is same size like T72 with Q trim.
The name of trim is "S" just because GTK use impeller F1.

Hi! Any updates? I'm really interested in this turbo especially the GTK850. What numbers (bhp) can i expect from a stock ports FD engine? Many thanks for any help!

Although I don't know the specifics on the 850, my gut feeling tells me it's way too damn big for a stock port motor.......

Thanks GoodfellaFD3S for your suggestion. I was going to purchase one in the following weeks....you saved me! What type of single turbo do you suggest on a stock port motor?

GT3574, GT35R, TO4S Ball Bearing, etc... depends on what you're trying to do.

Thanks TripspeedFD3S. I had in mind to get rid of the twins and get a single. I was aiming for 400Bhp (with all supporting mods) but don't actually know what turbo suits me most.

Well, my post was directed at ITR, who I'm pretty sure is asking about a stock port 2 rotor, no?

I am also wondering what a GTK can do on a well ported 13b. Im halfbridge currently, now going to fullbridge. Wonder how it will respond to that?

ITR maybe a GT28R will be more up your alley for what you want to do.

GT35R's can be 400+ horsepower to the wheels!

Thanks Dradon03! I'll do a search on the GT28R then. Does this turbo come with an internal wastegate? I would prefer one with an external one....

Would the GT35R be good for me too (stock motor)?

Thanks again!

A GT35R is a great all around turbo but may need some more boost/porting to come alive. Realize that with Efini twins and full bolt ons tuned you are in the 400hp to the crank range.

Wondering how the gtk 850 would work on a streetported 13b fd motor?
I'm considering getting one. The thing is i'm not going to really be on the track with it. is it a good street/highway turbo?

On my 20B street port GTK850 with .96 work realy fine.
Probably you need big street port because it's not small turbo (72mm compressor).
