Would want at best 400rwhp but 95% of the time i want a 350-375rwhp car with the fastest response possible. I have a lot invested into the twins currently but would love to simplify the car and i think with modern injectors and just a mild port i can keep it clean enough at idle to pass my emissions. I dont have to pass visual, just need a clean idle, which with the Pettit unlimited(not replaced with PFC, need to update my sig) and stock main cat it passed reading almost zero's across the board.

Im building this exact setup (5862 on HKS Cast) right now. Just need the turbo to arrive and find time to do everything around my work schedule. It will be running by the end of April but since I dont tune I cant make any promises on when Ill have actual numbers. I see no reason this setup wouldnt work.

On a side note I have ran both the Apex RX6 and more common TO4E on a pettit unlimited up to 12lbs with no issues what so ever. Power was definitely in the low 300s somewhere but hard to beat the perfect idle, AC working correctly almost no headaches that come with the stock ecu. Power is definitely limited though.

Yeah, I've stressed many times to Jim(JPR) to tell Wilmer that drive ability not power is what i ultimately seek. I will not accept a car that drives worse than stock that is built in respect to just making it work like stock but better, more in speed with new cars. I just cant stomach my timelessly beautiful FD being slower than a new base mustang GT..lol

I really look forward to your results. I wont be taking my car apart again until next winter. So almost all the time in the world to see how this works for you. Unless I lose an engine I never start a project when the weather is nice. I'd rather be driving the car!

I currently have 99 twins going in, ID1300's secondaries, HKS DLI among other little things including whats in my sig. Using a PFC for tuning, will be going adaptronics next year with the new motor and hopefully this little single project. Will add ID primaries this fall and try to get it inspected with the air pump off and just the cat and see how it does numbers wise on emissions with the better primaries and stock ports at idle.
