Turbo oil return line geometry
The lesser of two evils. Bws360 with cleaned up junk t4 manifold. This set up puts my return at a kinda crappy angle. So I can go two ways.
First
Run a 45 off the turbo and then run the risk of the line being straight(possible slight droop) to the front housing or
Second
Run a 60 off the turbo and have a nice downward angle to the front housing. The issue with this is the sharp angle off the turbo could possibly slow the flow of the oil restricting the return and that is no bueno.
Soooo I would like some opinions on which is better, the 45 and a possible slight droop in the line or a 60 and the severe angle possibly causing slight restriction in flow.
Or am I completely being ridiculous and need to take it easy and just order the fittings and stop being a wussy.
Thanks
Brett

A hard line drain might be a better choice - if you have any fabrication abilities....the typical commercial offerings putting a fitting in the valley between the compressor and exhaust housings **** me to tears, even before you get into the angle of the dangle!
