turbo oil line pressure

How do you lower the oil inlet pressure on the stock line when connecting to a single (t-60). Do you use some sort of pill?

I am converting my 93 to a single and my 94 back to the stock twins (non seq). The 94 was single b4, so it has been a real pain in the *** so far.

any tips???

I just used a -3 or -4 SS line from the source on the block and that ran fine.

I read a thread somewhere that claimed the oil pressure from the stock line was much too high for a single. (i.e. the pressure required for the stock twins is more that a single). I did not know if this is BS or what. I did not see anything in line on the single setup on the 94 I bought that would limit the pressure.

I want to be sure. I just had my t-66 rebuilt and don't want to *** it up!!

Yes.
My car used to smoke a lot with my SR turbo. The feed line was to big. Now I have a -4 AN feed line and a huge return line (-12AN i think).

Works great!!

I read somewhere that a huge feed line might drowned the turbo but also a big worry was starving the block in that region.

Ive not had a problem with my turbonetics non BB turbos with oil pressure, However i do know that their BB turbos come with pressure restrictors in the top fitting for oil inlet.
