The HKS T04R is a 60-1 turbo that they modified the compressor to accept a T-70 compressor wheel! I have one of those turbos!
My turbo supplier also sell them in the T-66 size!
I believe the 68-1 turbo from Turbonetics is also based on the same configuration! The turbos are 66-1's and 70-1's!

T100 with 150 shots of NOS and an electric saw to cut your hood to fit the turbo.

Okay I'm in the learning phase for turbos, and have a few questions.
60-1 is the size of the compressor or the brand name (garret right?) for that size compressor wheel?
The Q-Trim, P-Trim designations are the shape of the fins? Or another brands designation for compressor size?
A T04R would be the same physical size of a T04S or E but with a larger compressor wheel? Would that increase lag?
Thanx!!!

Okay I found turbonetics site and snooped around.
The trim is the size/shape of the compressor wheel?
60-1 is a brand name for a certain size compressor housing?
So say I wanted 450rwhp on a 13b REW, a T04E with a .96 A/R tangential divided housing with a Q-trim wheel would work? Am I getting all my terms right? thanx!

On the compressor side it has the 60-1/.70 A/R compressor housing machined for a T-70(70mm) compressor wheel.
The turbine section has the Garret factory clipped P-trim turbine wheel in the big shaft configuration. Turbine housing selection is up to your requirement but If I remember right the HKS T04-R came with a divided 1.15 turbine housing. It comes standard with regular bearings and a 360 deg. trust bearing.

All these votes for the T04S... does anybody actually run this turbo?

I assume that the majority are running T78... RX6... T04E...T66... T88.

I'll take the HKS 2835 twins!!! So what if they are about 8 grand and may have a LITTLE lag. Just think of the numbers after they spool up!!

Mine runs a single T4/T3 garrett. The boost starts as early as 3K. It is currently setup at 7psi. Any idea how much I can run this setup with stock fuel pump (i think) and a fuel cut defencer.
downpipe with stock main cat. Any feedback with this setup would be greatly appreciated. I bought the car the way it is. :p

why not dual y2k's while you're at it. Get a custom quad rotor.

Who dug this up from the grave? I ordered at GT35/40 but if it doesn't show up in a timely fashion...I will go with a BB T66.

i remember going to this aussie website that had a skyline with two Y2ks in it. The dyno vid on that car was sick.

I'm so undecided!! One day, I'm thinking I want a t04s, the next a gt35/40....and the day after that, a t78. Well, I guess I'll wait until I actually have the money to spend. CJ
