Turbo experts? Please review this spec!
I have a turbo from a Volvo 240 engine I built a few years back for a race car. The turbo has low hours on it, and MIGHT do for my FD3S on an HKS cast manifold. Here are the specs, what do you think? I want to make 400 RWHP on pump fuel, with an air to water I/C and Power FC , maybe Motec M4 later.
Rotomaster TO4B-RM10
S4 compressor trim with O turbine trim
Exhaust A/R .58
Compressor A/R .60
None divided, not water cooled, external wastegate.
Thanks.

it's a T04B, thats a good start, its exhuast housing is too small, i am pretty sure the compressor is too small aswell
you need a larger exhuast housing if you want to make 400rwhp on pump fuel, in the range of a 0.96A/R single entry or larger

The 240 is a 2.3l four, right? Redlines at roughly 6k too.
I don't think it'd work well on an engine that moves air like a 2.6, and has a much higher redline, unless you really REALLY want low-end boost while sacrificing high-end power.
