Turbo Blanket GT35/40 ?

Have not looked into any of these topics for a while, and hoping to get feedback.

Noticed Turbo Blankets are fairly inexpensive now looking into another application.

Are these generally recommended for this application here? Any issues with them to know about like moisture retention of some detail that needs to be known?

What size blanket is suggested here for a GT35/40 if looking for a good fit?

Any specific details to look for like material or attachment method if I am explicitly looking to keep heat away from the LIM, fuel rail/lines etc?

Constructed a rudimentary SS heat shield a looong time ago, but guessing a insulated blanket might be a better solution long term?

PTP and thermal zero have been good to us. we are starting to use only thermal zero since their construction just feels and looks a lot better than the PTP. they perform well too. you would be fine with either. all the other brand blankets out there has us skeptical just based on presentation alone. the funk motorsports one has some over the top advertising but it for sure drives the point home lol

Ptp is very good, but an inconel shield from ATP wrap is probably the best option.
you will probably have to send your turbine housing to them to do the perfect fitment .
pricing is great, turnaround is phenomenal.

^^^ This!!! ^^^ I got ATP to make an inconel shield for my GT40R and Xcessive LIM, and it's a very impressive bit of kit! You can even see where they laser etch the owners name on the plaque (just don't share my secret name). And as the wise man said, the pricing IS great.
