trap speed of 135mph???

just out of curiousity roughly how much power(rwhp) would a full-weight t2 need to make in order to trap at 135mph (stock geometry susp.,however much slick you can get under the car)

thanx,

That was (or is?) sporty's FD down in FL, it was (is?) a high 9 second street FD, with around 650HP.

Yea thats about right... for a 2700 lb car it would take 550 hp to trap 135.... thats crank... 500rwhp should be enough..

Not 650!

560-580 rwhp
car weights 2900Ilbs with driver
all boost (T72)

If you ever seen the car run in person
car hooks! does awesome 60 foots

after the run in moroso
they re dyno'd the car with a some more boost
and put down 620'ish
but never ran it at the track since then

There busy running there shop and Race car in PR
to mess with the street car here in Orlando

The good thing is the rules have changed since then
now a 13B car can weight 2600 with driver

But yes any turbo T66 and above can achieve 500 HP
with out have to run 30Ilbs+

Thanks for the HP clarification, I thought the 9sec pass was on the 6XXhp map...

For 135mph around 530 to 550rwhp give or take a little with full weight.
A friend of mines did 135mph with 520rwhp at 2750lbs.
At 2600lbs I've trapped 9.60's at 140 to 142mph with 580rwhp and 9.20's in the 150's with 650rwhp.

You'll be surprise how many there are. They are just not as public as most people on the forums.
