TO4S to M2 Med IC?

I am installing a TO4s from XS in my car and am wondering if the piping for the M2 Med IC will work, or do I need to have something fabricated. Does anyone have this setup?

I used the black pipe that XS ships with the T04S but I modified it by grinding the end where it connects to the M2 med IC.

So they do send an intake pipe with the kit?

Wargasm, what type of power are you putting down with the t04s?

Also does anyone know what the A/R of the XS TO4S kit is?

radkins...

1.00 divided on exhaust side
0.70 on intake side

My kit included the manifold, hks racing wastegate, apexi BOV, downpipe, and a pipe to go from the turbo to a stock IC. I modded the pipe by grinding it and it seems to work OK for the M2 medium IC now. It also came with some heat wrap and thermotec wrap.

I tuned the car myself on the street with a mild street port (also my own design) and I put down about 410 rwhp and 350 ft*lbs @14-15 PSI with this kit. I say "about" because the stupid dyno rpm pickup failed to put out any numbers right around 7000 rpm

I am SURE there is some more potential HP up at the top end because I have my ignition timing set WAY WAY too conservatively at 6500+ rpm. I am probably running about 8-12 degrees too retarded right now at 6500-8000.

I'd like to be able to get 450 rwhp at 15 psi.... then I might put on water injection and try for 525 or so at 20 psi

Do you happen to have any photos of your intake? I am going to the RX-7 Store Thursday to have it installed and want to make sure we can make it work so I'm not sitting in Columbus with no intake pipe.

No I don't have any photos... It's not the BEST fit, but it does work OK for me.

No, there still kickin'. I am just power hungry, and at 15lbs they produce way too much heat. More like hairdriers than turbo's. I figure I can get 430+ with the large racing port easily.

I dont have a TO4S, but i was lucky enough to be present when a local FD that just had that kit installed (along with new engine management) and was fired up.

All i can say is "insane"

Just sitting there, with no engine load and pumping the gas pedal so that rpms went up no more than 6k, the turbo whistled loudly and made 10 psi!!!!!!!!! Mind you this is sitting still, no load!!! Goddamn, i want one. Talk about spoolin like a ****!

So how do all the owners like this XS kit?
