I have no actual experience with OT tires on the strip, but I know a few Camaro guys that have used Hoosier's and Kumho's at the strip. They all say that they hook up okay, but you need a good burnout everytime because they do not retain the heat like a DR.

I may have to step down to 17s I guess but I love the way the 18s look.15s 16s thats way too small I want to be able to drive it to the track not swich wheels and tires run it and drive it home just because I want to be as fast at the track as on the street .

Well have fun spinning down the track... Hey but don't worry, your car will look good...LOL
That's hilarious I can hear it in the stnads now...the little kid looks up at their dad and asks him, "Daddy, why is that pretty car driving slower than the others?"

15's or 16's also has the advantage of changing your overall gearing off the car meaning better acceleration
for putting power to the ground you want something with a 50 series profile or larger, not a 35 series, 35 series is a corning tyre not a LAUNCHABLE tyre

Well I just cant sacrifice the looks of the 18's with thr 35 series just too damn good looking so I guess when I go to the track I will swap em out with factory wheels with 50 series dragradials. 95% of my street encounter have been from at least a 40 roll so If I come across a redlight and pull up along side someone I guess I will play catchup and then blow by them like there siting still.

First of all this is not the NHRA or NIRA .At only 16psi it made 410hp to the ground and 2730lbs makes for a pretty stout car and as far as haveing more hp I have this little thing called a profec B and all I got to do is turn a little ****,Which seems almost stupid because it's right on the borderline of not being streetble right now. What kind of power does your car put down? Around here not to much to worry about my friend has a 383 vortech supercharged camaro that puts down 540rwhp and we are pretty much side by side through every gear.
