t-66

i have been looking at single prices and it seems to me that if you have a kit made for you instead of buying one it is much cheaper for the HP you get from it. As the title says i am looking at a t-66.. But i know nothing about all the sizing. I plan on gettin a bb one for quick spool but i also want to make max hp around 7900 rpms but have full boost by 4k. I plan on running around 18-20 psi. Anyone help me with the sizing and everything that i need to build my own kit???

You'll need

1. Turbo---Turbonetics or another distributor?

2. Exhaust manifold--can order from SFP or RX-7 store

3. Downpipe-custom made.. maybe SFP can do it

4. Oil and Water lines-Earl's Plumbing or XS engineering

5. Intake element-K+N

6. Block Off plates-I think someone on the forum makes these custom, look around.

Spyfish007 did a run on some block off plates (he might make another group buy in the future). Might want to check with Jason (Rx7 store) and see if he still has a set or not. The block off plates also come with resistors (if you are still using the stock ecu + piggyback unit) so the check engine light does not activate and put you in limp mode. Look in the Vendors section then groupbuy center section. Laters --Tommy

I have been working on prepping my t2 with a BBt66 for quite some time now. The turbo is from turbonetics, and was 1700 with warranty. I'm having custom oil/water-I/O lines made from a hydrualics shop for about $50. Manifold is SFP w/HKS 50mm w/g.

Can't wait to get it on the street!

As far as HP were trying to make 500. But that is after we have the engine rebuilt and street ported with 2mm seals. I am building this car to be able to keep up with one of my friends.
