maybe drop it to 15psi in the rear only.... depends on how hard you launch though.

Im gonna guess 20/25 psi do small burn out to get water off tires but not hot and launch at about 4000/4500 and peddel if it wheel hops! What do you say zinx?

If i recall correctly, I ran mine down to about 20psi. Launch the at 4,000rpms, and role into the throttle.

As I'm sure you know, alot has to do with track conditions. I'd start around 20psi, and launching the car 6k, then 5.5k, 5k etc. Until you find the best RPM, with the least amount of tire spin. My .02, CJ

I would probably leave a little more air in the tires, probably around 28 psi. I think 20 psi would actually hurt him. I think he will want to use a lot of clutch getting out of the hole, putting down just the right amount of power for little to no wheel spin. If he drops the clutch at all its just going to light them up.

I agree, you have had more practice on street tires than i have. I dont even own a pair of street tires.

Im running the nitto nto1 performance tires. So far so good but not when there cold.

Man I mustve been screwing up because I launched at 2200 rpms on stock twins and got 1.9x 60fts, 8.2s 1/8th... On full pressure. no burnout ever pulled around the water... Intake, downpipe and exhaust.

Ive NEVER launched my car that hard-@ 4k rpms... Well my old car is the one Im talking about. Too scared to snap something.

New car has 70mm inducer BB turbo, kazz, and BFG DR's... Where should I try to launch with this setup?
