Tial

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to use one of the tial wastegates on a trust td06 manifold, the wastegate flange is square with the bolt centres being 55mm?
Thanks.

Tial doesn't supply a gasket for the 40, 44, or 46mm models that I'm aware of. TiAL uses a metal valve seat that is indipendant of the inlet flange, there by ensuring sealing in all but the most warped flanges.

I have a 40mm gate, I'll see about measuring it tomorrow some time for you. If I remember, the actual inlet hole is offset just a few mm from one side, so some minor proting may be nessicary. Also, IIRC, it's the same as a HKS wastegate flange pattern.

Well thankyou mr racist.I asked a simple question and you posted an answer which seemed to show nothing except smartass and sarcasm, whether you intended that or not but thats how it came across and as turbo1 pointed out above they apparently don't even make a gasket for it so maybe i should buy the flange and see if it fits or maybe i should just buy the whole wastegate and see if it fits. You know "spend a little money" and see if it fits.

Everytime someone comes on here wanting to know if a certain thing will work do you respond by telling them to "spend a little money....?

I don't think anyone would come on here just to be told that, i'm sure people can figure out that much for themselves.

You don't need to come in here to apologise because you obviously think you're at no fault here....."people like "him" really bug the hell out'a me"

You apologising or still bashing man?

Really Marcel i have no beef with you.I didn't post this thread for that reason but you need to step back and see who's bugging who here, peace.

Exclamation

My intention wasn't to be smart or sarcastic ! , this is the same thing I did when I made my exhaust manifold , before I got the turbo I got a gasket to use as a pattern. I never clamed to know everything , I mistakingly thought that that gate came with a gasket , telling you to "spend a little money" was an attempt to suggest a cheap ,simple and sure way to find you answer.
As I said before if you did not like my response you could have simply ignored it , Why did you have to come out CUSSIN' ??? , you never even asked a question , you just came out swinging , if that's the way you respond when someone answers one of your questions maybe you shouldn't ask because you wouldn't always get the correct answers. Its people like YOu who cause the more experienced and knowledgable members to stay off the board or to just not respond to any questions , as soon as you read something you don't like or agree with YOU start to exhibit your VERY "pleasant" personality.
Racist ?? , when or where did I refer to you by RACE ?? , I called you an English @#$# , where is the race in that ? , I checked you profile and you ARE located in England .
The first thing you did was , respond by calling me a F@#$er and talk about how much money you have , Who cares about how much money you have ???? , then after your brilliant display , you act surprised when I defend my self ??, I should just sit here and let you CUSS me out right ?? , you have a lot of nerve !!!.
If you accept my apology or not has ABSOLUTELY NO bearing on the price of coffee down here , so I guess you can do what ever you like , you can DROP DEAD for all I care !!.

OK Marcel, i'm not going to go on arguing the point.I thought you were being an *** with your reply" spend a little money" as if you were calling me 'tight ***' for coming on here and not just spending a few pennies on a gasket.Thats the only reason i pointed to the sig.

You have made it clear that was not your intention so i APOLOGISE for jumping on you.
Calling somebody an english so an so or a french so and so or an american so and so is considered a racial taunt here in england at least, in most civilized countries i would think it would be the same. Even though yes there is technically no race involved. You didn't need to go down there, besides i'm not even english hehe.
I wish i had all the money you once again assume i have but i don't, all the work on my cars is done by myself from porting to paintwork, the grass always looks greener on the other side though doesn't it.
I hope you don't drop dead and go on cotributing to the cause.
Once again sorry and peace
