is there any downside to using a PowerFC with an aftermarket ignition such as a CDI?

tuning issues?

I run one MSD-6AL, Magnacore wires, TII leading loil and NGK 10.5 race plugs.

I run 2 Crane HI6 dI-2 amps, with 4 LX92 coils for the last 5 yrs. after 2 engines and a friend at Crane I have never had any ignition misfires since then . RON
