thinking of selling my 60-1 for either to4r or to4s?
i was thinking of getting rid of my 60-1 it's brand new and i got it a awicked price!! but i am setting new goals and in the market for a fd now..but some people are saying to4r over the to4s why i don't know why, because i have a dyno sheet with a to4r compaired to a to4s the to4s is making better power and faster! what do you think? i think the to4s would be better..any input..any help plz as i can get a to4s right now for a great price..

i know i clicked on the 3rotor one by mistake to graph but the one above that has a to4r and is a 13b...and he is making 472hp i think it was at 19psi where the to4s is making well over 500hp at 21 psi i know 3 psi difference..but big difference and i know the are different..maybe i should call steve at gotham racing tomorrow?

here are better dyno's to compare 2 to4r and sum to4s turbo's?
to4s also same as my turbo (60-1) but may have smaller wheel and mine is a q trim
Exhaust A/R 1.15
Compressor A/R .7
21psi
to4r
exhaust A/R 1.00
compressor A/R ?
19psi

T04R:
66.7mm comp. wheel inducer
84.0mm comp. wheel exducer
T04S:
59.0mm comp. wheel inducer
76.2mm comp. wheel exducer
Both use the same compressor housing, which is a T04S housing (unless you have a 60-1 HiFi, which uses a standard T04B comp. housing).
Anything past 15psi, the T04R should and will outflow the T04S. Supra guys using the T04R see boost levels up near 30psi, and are still making good horsepower numbers. The T04S, on the other hand, begins losing efficiency a little before 20psi. You would probably see better number than most using a Q-trim turbine wheel on the T04S, but your turbo response may be a bit slower.

Hmmm maybe my T04R info is wrong... my thought was that a T04R was a 62-1 in the same way that a T04S is a 60-1....
Either way, the thing I type into the dyno webpage is what the turbo OWNER says... (in other words, I don't translate "oh this guy says T04R, I think that is a 62-1, so that's what I'll put)

Looked up some specs on the web... here's what I found for some turbo compressors...
Name - exducer(inches) - inducer(inches) - exducer(mm) - inducer(mm)
60-1 3.000 2.324 76.2 59.0
62-1 3.000 2.441 76.2 62.0
HKS T04R 3.307 2.626 84 66.7

BTW, lol... looks like you answered your own question about the 62-1 and the T04R deal
