T78 in an FC?
I just found a GReddy T78 turbo for a pretty good price and I just wanted to know how much, if any custome work would be required to install it into my S5 FC. I already have a 25G turbo, but this deal is almost too good to resist. I just want to make sure that it won't be too difficult to install when the time comes. Will it just drop in with the proper manifold? Or will I have to "make" space for it.
Also, once I get it into the car, will I even be able to spool it properly once the proper supporting upgrades have been made?
Thanks.

I know you CAN do it, just not how. Forgive me for being an FD guy but with my limited knowledge of FCs I do believe it will work just fine assuming you can get a manifold and downpipe to match.

Do any of you guys know if the GReddy T78 is a dual ball bearing turbo?
I would also like some input from people that are using this turbo, what kind of boost lag if any are you getting when you run the 1/4 mile. I'm building this car to drag at the track next year. I'd like to be in the 11s if possible.

Fits straight in, easier than the stock setup. Oil lines are probably the most difficult...which is not much. About 5psi at about 3300, holds until the secondaries open at about 3600. 10psi at about 4200, and carries on building.
