t78 dyno inside, 499rwhp at 17.4psi

Today we ran the car on the dyno, Rototest hub dyno.

Setup

T78
Big streetport
Custom plenum 80mm throttlebody
shell V-power pump fuel.

Yesterday we achieved 448rwhp at 13.4psi, today we raised the boost to 17PSI.

The turbo is a bit laggy but when it comes on it seems to pull forever!
we only took it to 7400rpm today but the curves just won't peak.

7400rpm 498,8rwhp and 472,8nm or 350ft.lbs @17.4psi

Im now looking for a replacement for the t78, any suggestions?

Nice! You could run like .1 psi and hit 500. How did you make that manifold?

The engine was easy to tune and responded well to the increase in boost from 14 psi (448rwhp) to 17.4 psi (498 rwhp). It sould be making around 550 hp ( cranc hp) at the point i lifted the pedal. Torque is 545 Nm ( cranc Nm) at a high 7300 rpm. With this stage 2 big streetport and the improved intake with ported xcessive lower manifold and Gustav made, ported upper manifold i think the engine can make horsepower up to 8000 rpm, but we haven't prove it yet! Plan was using E85 and make 500 rwhp but now it seems just fine with the Shell 99 unleaded fuel. Now you only need some R-tires to avoid those tire spin at 6000 rpm, am i right Gustav?"lol"

No need to be worried about your 9:0 c:r rotors unless you come into a 3-cycle phase and ignite the unburnt combustion. Then you may have dented rotor flancs. Sure we try the E-85 soon! But there is a better alternative in Sweden E-98 from Aspen racing fuel which is 15% 100 octane mix with "E-85". Gustav,do we have the guts to break the 600 hp mark with E-98? I think at least Ari Yellon has made over 600 hp with a T-78 on race gas?

e85 or pump gas, no fancy race gas/e98.

this is a streetcar not a dynoqueen :]
