T72 Bridge?
I am thinking about fitting a T72 turbo to my big Half bridge ported motor.
Does this sound a good idea? Will the Bridge's extra spooling ability help make this a viable option?
The spec of the turbo is Undivided .84 a/r hot side Q trim wheel. Compressor a/r .70. compressor wheel: inducer 2.849 exducer 4.050.
What is your opinion? will this make the bridge to undrivable (drag car) with no turbo responce or could it be made to work with the right manifolds etc?
Cheers

I'll tell you what most people will tell you, your better off going with a bigger hotside A/R. Of course it will spool fast, but you'll be losing some top end power due to the small hotside A/R.
T51 Kai, will spool faster since it is a ball bearing turbo, but the cost of the turbo alone is not worth it, IMO. Plus I don't think you can rebuild them? (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

How about a GT42? It's bigger than the T72 and you can rebuild it. But, big turbo's like that often don't need to be rebuilt seeing how they're never really pushed to the limit on street cars.
