which turbo is used by hks for the kit. garrett, holset, ect.

All HKS kits use Garrett Turbos.

Wait a minute, HKS uses Japanese Garrett components, not US spec parts. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Garrett makes the turbo's for HKS, but under contract, they can't just sell you the same turbo they supply (to HKS Spec's) you could probably get something very close or the same thing if you know how to mix and match the parts. You can also buy the turbo from HKS out right, but bring some lube with you!

Even if your a dealer for HKS bring some lube with you... If your a dealer for garret turbos, why dont you just buy one of their turbos, get a custom manifold made, and get the lines and wastegate? You can do it all for about 1/2 the price of HKS' cheapest turbo kit.

Everything except the hks casted compressor housing is available through garrett
