T4/Gt40 10psi dyno results FD- 327hp
Well, I finally got my car on the dyno. I made a bunch of passes and the highest was 327hp. I was changing fuel and I got the high area air/fuel really level. I tried to get the bump out but couldn't. This car is a track car(road course)car only. The air fuel line is black and is locked at 11.0 under full boost. I know my timing is retarded and was wondering how much more I could get with more timing and/or split(all 15). Also, the RPM correlation is wrong at the upper end and it should be about 7800rpm. Oh Yeah, I'm running the Power FC.

I'll post up the timing. I like the power its making now for the road course. I need to get my brakes and suspension a little more dialed before adding more psi. It will be hard to change since I can WOT all day and not deal with any heat issues.

not bad man, you were on a mustang dyno which is great because your tune is more accurate. if you hop on a dynojet you'll see higher numbers.
i agree with turblown, 15 degrees is slack for only 10psi but if you're going to be punishing it in 20 minute intervals and ****... then don't worry about adding much more hahaha

Acually, 15 split is ok for this setup with running more boost in mind. Yes this is what the plan is. About 15psi is going to be sweet on this ride. Paul Yaw is the one who trained me and I think i will suggest this to my customers with confidence in my abilty and Pauls overwelming knowlage. Tuning is something you learn over time and I think Darkslide is doing a great job not ever touching a rotary car before this one.

cewrx7r1, that sounds like a plan. However, nobody in phoenix is doing this. Therefore, I have to keep on tuning myself. I run this car hard on the road courses and it sees wot 20 times per lap. I been to like 8 open track events(4-20 minute sessions plus a Time Attack) on the motor and it is holding up nicely. I am learning to drive and changing the vehicle setup all the time. The motor has been kinda secondary, but now, I have a little time to work on tuning.
I changed all my non boost cells back to the pfc base map, not 15 split anymore. I did a road test and it seemed pretty good. I still have this tip-in stutter at 12-1500 rpms.
BTW, if anybody can point me in the direction of a tuner, lets here it.

I had the same problem finding a tuner. Trevor...in Tucson offered to help when I was in the buildup stages of my car, but then when I finished he refused. I bought the tuning notes from Chuck and just when I got the car up and running and wanted to start tuning, I ran into a huge issue with the previous engine build (LONG story). The new engine is being built by Elliot (1Revvin7) and he will be doing the initial tune on my car. Between the three of us and with Chuck's notes (cewrx7r1) we will be able to get it running smooth.
Now it is just a matter of finding time...

Anyway I will have Paul Yaw look at the map and get back to Darkslide.

guy,
i'd be running about 18* advance and about 8* of split at only 10psi, which is still conservative.
your current advance is about what i'd be running at 15psi, which is still conservative. at 15psi i'd be running about 15* advance and about 12* of split, which (again) is conservative.
