Is it possable to fit a T4 Turbine housing to a Gt3540? I would like to keep the T4 foot print to save messing about with my manifold or is the next one up the Gt40/42 a T4 foot print? and if so would it be too big for a Rx?

What i would like is a Dubble BB Turbo some where between a GT3540 and the T66 but i dont want to be messing with my Manifold as its not that old?

You can technically mate a T4 housing to the GT35/40 CHRA, but I found the housing I had (spare) in the garage is too big for the turbine wheel of the GT35. So, it probably wouldn't make any power.

I don't think I found a T4 housing that would fit nicely with the GT35, but I didn't spend too much time on it either.

Am i better looking at somthing like a T66 BB or the next one up GT4042 than trying to adapt a GT3540?

 

yes, 40/42 or the 66bb would be a better idea
