T-88h

Hey all....ii am running a t-78 for some time now and looking to upgrade to perhaps a t-88 or even t-88h. Anyone using or have experience running the T-88H.....would love the gt42r as most do..but not looking to upgrade manifold, and exhaust

I had the 88H and hated it. Very laggy for the little power it produced.

get a T4 gt4276

i personally like the T88 but most of my experience with it is on Supra's. i can imagine it not being anywhere near as responsive as a garret counterpart.. probably the same price too!

How is the response time on a T4 flanged gt42r ? I would think a 1.01A/R would be better for a T4 flange......probably close to a T-78...but mich more power potential....?

Not that good and your opposite. The T6 frame will spool quicker on the rotary due to the larger runners.

Ahhh yes...well i am only running a street port so I am guessing no matter the flange the gt42r isnt going to be the best upgrade from my t-78

Wrong again! I made over 700rwhp on a street port. The GT42R comes with a dual ball bearing option which allows it to spool even faster. I reach 20psi by 4600 or so.

I can't agree with you more.

That was one boring turbo. That thing moved like a turtle with rigamortis
