Cool T-66 with 1.15,devided tang.

Still haven't received my turbo yet ,delays and more delays, anyways , I ordered it with a 1.15 r/r ,tangential devided exhaust housing , question is how well would it work on the street . I am still stock but plan to run 20-25 psi. max with the help of water / methanol injection ,I also have all the other goodies ,E6K ,Fuel system ,Massive RMIC etc, etc.

what is the point of a tangental divided exhuast housing. I recall them being useless unless set up correctly. lates

to get the benifits of a divided housing you need a truely divided exhuast manifold, that being said, it allows you to run a larger exhuast housing which allows more top end HP due to the higher exhuast flow while maintaining the spool up of a smaller exhuast housing. a 1.15A/R divided spools like a 0.96 single entry but means more top end HP

Yup ! , I am having the manifold made now , I am going with totally separate runners and two 35mm Tial waste gates for bost control ( also with a HKS EVC ) .

Why two wastegates? Oh and by the way, I had a t-70 with a 1.15 div housing and a divided header, same design as the greddy, and it was awesome on the street.

Basically the same turbo as mine. Although two 35mm wastegates is very large. You might want to try a smaller size, I think they make a 26mm, even that is big when running two. The problem would be the wastegate fluttering trying to control boost through such a big opening. Will this happen, not sure, but it is a possibility.

Divided turbo, divided manifold, dual wastegates, that is a good setup. Good spool up and will make decent power.

How would the 2 wastgate be set up?

Would they both open together? being a proper Devided Manifold i understand the single type will only control one runner not giving good boost control, Correct me if i'm wrong but does'nt the XS and Hks manifolds only have one?

Yes they would both work together like one large unit , I would be "Teeing " off all the vaccum / pressure hoses to and from the waste gates and the EVC to achieve this, concerning the issue of size ,two 35mm units being too large I'm not sure can anyone else shed some light on the subject ????? , and where can I fing wastegates smaller than 35mm????? ,thanks.

I've just replaced the Turbo on my Dads Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel, I had the Manifold,Turbo etc on the bench swaping bits and noticed that it has a 1" external wast gate on it. Beening a Diesel it only runs 4 psi of boost but do you think 2 of these would do? i will do a bit of reserch but it would be good as there very compact

Yep, you're wrong - the divided manifolds have dual passages that divert exhaust gases from BOTH front and rear rotors into a common single wastegate (flange).

Then would that not be a true devided manifold?

Why dont you just make a runner off both of the rotors into a single wastegate?? Wouldnt that make more sense??

then it wouldn't be a truly divided manifold , exhaust pulses would be able to travel back and forth across the connecting runner and interfere with each other.

Sure, it won't be a "true" divided manifold, but try and plumb in two wastegate into the whole exhaust - there's not too much room there...

Room ? , there would be lots of room down there when I bring the turbo forward, infact i was checking it out today , both can fit under the down pipe or one down there and the other higher up around the turbine housing some place , if the stock set-up can fit , two small gates can.
