Smile Switched from PMS to Haltech.... WOW!!

I have been having drivability and power problems lately with the PMS and my single turbo. Down around 50-70 hp on the dyno.

We brought Matt the "HITman" over to Korea to do some work on the Tiburons and my RX-7.

Although the air temp sensor is not plugged in, none of my gauges are working and I'm only getting 11 psi with the wastegate only (have't connected the AVC-R yet), The car pulls like crazy with the E6K.
Even with Matt in the car it pulls very hard especially at the upper rpm ranges. I will have some dyno numbers later. I'm hoping to at least duplicate my previous PMC numbers of 417 RWHP at 15 psi but with much better consistancy and drivability. I may even sneak in a 20 psi run on race fuel.

Question

Cheuk, congrats on getting Matt over there to help you out. Did you ever get your race gas at a cheaper price than what they sell over there in Korea?

Have a wonderful day.

Unfortunately, I have had zero luck in getting any fuel here. VP let their US postal hazardous shipping licence expire. So I can't even "sneak" in 5 gallon cans by boat through US Postal. Anything else will be stopped by customs and impounded.

Cheuk, I will ask around a little and see if I can find something out to help you.

Did you send Matt back yet? It is weird not have a handful of emails in my mailbox from him every morning

Matt left this morning after an all night tuning session. Our Tiburons are running strong. Wouldn't want to mess with them with a stock FD.

He is heading to Brunei for the next several days.

He should be back in Sydney in early June.
