Ever since I have had this account I could not send PMs. I have no idea if I can send them but I do know for a fact I can not receive them. Please help.

I have enabled it in my settings. I am not sure if there is another step I need.

Your settings look OK but even If I sent you a PM you WOULD get it as I am a MOD.

If you have a buddy on here,set it up so that you can have him send you a PM at a certain time.
If you do not get it and you can confirm with your buddy that he actually had one sent,then Post back and we can take it from there.

I do not have many friends who use the forums anymore. But I was told by someone via email that he sent me like 3 PMs and I did not get any of them.

Click on "User CP" >>> "Settings and Options" >>> "Edit Options"

Check on the settings for PMs.

It should look something like this:

Okay, so "Enable Private Messaging" is checked and "Receive Private Messages from only Contacts and Moderators" is NOT checked. Is that correct?

Have you tried changing those settings, saving, and changing back and saving again?

If those are checked correctly, I don't see any issues that I can see. Let me know on the check boxes and if they are checked correctly, I'll get an admin to take a look.

I have checked and rechecked those boxes and still nothing. As of right now I have the right boxes checked and the right ones un checked.

Ok. I'll get an Admin to look. I thought it was a glitch with the search, but when I look up your settings, your account shows up 33 times (all same username, but different member number). The information on each of those are a little different. Some show you only have 1 post, some show you as a 5yr member (but you should be 10yr), etc.

So, somehow something got messed up when you signed up and it created a bunch of accounts and it must be getting confused on your settings. An Admin will probably have to merge these accounts or wipe out the extra ones.

I haven't heard anything yet. I have sent a follow-up message to a couple of the admins.

I don't have the ability to fix your account myself.
