"super" t4 60-1 Suitablity
I have a 13bt extend port.
Does anyone know if a super t4 60-1 .60 a/r turbine housing and 1.15 a/r compressor housing will be ok on this engine for street/drag ? Is there any better setups for around the same price?
How much lag will it have, what sought of power will I be able to get with this turbo? It will be in a mazda 1000 ute which is fairly light. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

It's a .60 compressor a/r and a 1.15 turbine a/r just to clarify. I've got the exact turbo you speak of. That turbine really is huge, and the compressor is a pretty small combination for it. I got full boost by ~4800 with stock REW port. The compressor is basically a T04B I believe. What kind of boost are you planning on running?

Im not sure what boost I was going to expect. Id wind it out as much as possible for the strip. But obviously wouldnt be driving around town with max psi.
Do you think that my motor, being ported wont "waste" the flow the "huge turbine" 60-1 can provide? What sought of HP/KW would I be looking at, at the wheels?
I dont care to much if its a bit laggy, I can put up with it. The motor is dowled with a s/5 gearbox, hi lux lsd.

With proper manifold and standalone you shoud see full boost around +4000rpm with your port.

hey mate, so you know I have a T04-E, 60-1 .70 and 1.15 hot side.
She's a bit laggy (full boost by about 5000+ Rpm) but bloody good fun, Im getting 340 Rwhp with 14psi. with full boost to about 8000rpm
Since I have no porting or anthing you should boost earlier then me. also my compression is **** so you should get some better HP numbers.
also for the money I bought a t04b off ebay then hi flowed it up to the spec's I wanted, it was a hell of a lot cheaper then just going out and getting a to4-e all spec'ed up
