strange oil sling after first start on new turbo

hey guys, i just got my FD running after a haltech install and precision 6262 turbp install.

check out these tiny little oil spots, which appear to be some sort of sling, maybe from assembly lube?

i did crank the engine "dry" for several seconds to get oil over to the turbo before starting it and/or doing any revving. i'm running a -4an feed and -10 return with no kinks.

this only happened on the first start, and has not happened since, but it has me slightly concerned.

Nothing to be concerned about. I don't think it's assembly lube...its just oil. Do you have a restricter for the oil feed? not sure about precision but a lot of turbo's require oil restrictors.

and no, no restrictor. it's a journal bearing turbo.

Spray a small amount of carb cleaner or brake parts cleaner to clean it while its running this will make sure that it's gone and any residual oil gets removed in the process. After this report back. I've sold a couple good fixes for oiling issues with turboed rotaries but I won't get into this unless you have "the problem." I'm not a believer in restriction fittings...
