Stainless 13B flanges

Does anyone produce them in 304?

Any halfway decent shop can produce them, I sent out a gasket and had a plasma table cut 3/8" plate in a couple days, I think I layed out 40 bucks for the flange. Just gotta find a metal fabrication place with the right tools in your area. I've found plenty of mild flanges, 304 isn't quite as easy to come by in precut flanges.

I have a laser table just down the street and I work with the shop on other things quite a bit so getting them done isn't a problem. Just wanted to check to see if there was someone already producing them to save the legwork of having them cut. Seems like I've seen a website that had them but can't find it.

I'd recommend picking up a SCE copper gasket and just have them cut a copy of it. By the time you track someone down online, still pay a premium because they're selling to guys who have no access to the equipment to build this stuff, and you're taking a hit for shipping its probably not worth it. Unless your place down the street is going to rough you up bad on pricing I'd just have them knock it out. Also a laser table is a real plus, alot of guys are just cutting them out with CNCs and you're paying a premium for tool wear as well, 304 obviously isnt kind to the tools.

I wish mine were lasered instead of plasma, thick stainless still has some blow out causing it to angle inward through the cut so they weren't the nicest flanges in the world, but they worked pretty well. I say use the SCE as its a one piece, trying to cut a pair off factory gaskets sucks, so much more stuff to line up while welding it, we ended up having to have it milled down flat because the flanges were slightly cocked even though they were welded to a jig.

That's a decent pic if you're interested in checking out what we did

I have cad files for flanges, and have used them for cutting a few flanges, both on a laser and with plasma. I'm happy to share them with you.... though in thinking I just moved and am not sure exactly where the files are. Pretty easy to come up with though.

Really, the plasma cut ones weren't bad. Just had to use a new tip for every 10 flanges or so. If you have free/cheap access to a laser, go for it.

Send TT_Rex_7 a pm.

I got 1/2" 304 flanges for both my 13b and 20b from him.
Nice products and very reasonably priced.

Thanks for the kind words!

If you need a flange, I have an opening this weekend on my wire EDM, and one of my CNC mills. Wire EDM will leave a better finish than any CNC machine. However, the cost is quite high due to the time it takes to cut on the wire EDM.

Anywho, I seem to typically have the best prices, along with the best qaulity.

This is the flange I machined for my own car. The outside was machined on one of my CNC mills, and the lettering was done on my wire EDM.

Both the 20B and T6 flange was machined on one my CNC mills. The manifold is AutoIllusions work.

The manifold above is RX-Hevens. The 13B flange was cut by a local shop with a water jet, since I do not own a water jet myself. I think RX-Heven stated that Burns Stainless provided the T4 flange. You'd have to ask him who fabricated the manifold. If I remember correctly, it was done by a local welder.

Looks very nice! If I can't work something out locally I'll surely give you a call.
