Why hallo thar.

So I'm wondering if you big ballers out there (to be honest, I wanted to route this thread towards those with single turbos) not blow smoke at WOT ? I'm always weary of stomping the pedal because of the obscene amount of smoke that I'm blowing at full acceleration.

I've seen extremely reliably built supras blow massive amounts of smoke in the same situation, and turbo cars in general seem to be plagued by this. How have you quelled this , if at all? I don't have any emissions on the car, and I also wonder if the hi-flow cat waffle shaking around (from being burned loose) contributes to this with the high heat.

If the car is healthy it will be the richness of the aka fuel smoke. Depending on how good of a tune you have. Built turbo rotaries see this quite a bit as most tune on the rich side to counteract detonation.

Video of my FD shows a bit of black smoke, due to a slightly over rich tune. No smoke though. CJ

I get a little bit, but not like plumes of billowing smoke. If the car is tuned safely (slightly rich) it will naturally smoke a little more than usual, also if you premix it will smoke too. just my $0.02.
