I was using that as an example ..... Besides, you don't have to go spend all the "cash" to find out what ELSE works.

Ok, cool. Thank you for that information. I wish more people could do some tests with the t5 and t6 turbos. If I could keep the same spool, and make more power on less boost I would spend more money on a t6 setup.

A T6 setup is going to have more lag compared to a T4 no matter what way you slice it. Yes you wil have way more power up top but we all dont drive our cars for only a 1/4 mile at a time.

Sorry Viper Boy, go do it instead of typing about and you'll find out. Till then I suppose you'll have to take it from people with first hand experience with both. The T6 will spool faster AND make more power. The rotary has twice the exhaust pulse as your fabulous dodge.

WHERE IN GOD can i find a air filter that big, I need one for my GT42, mine is a T6 also, it spools really quick, but that is Bridgeported

"Rocking Rotary" As ErnieT has said, a T6 Correctly done, will spool faster than a T4, Believe what you want, we know first hand.

It's funny how you can always tell the folks on this forum who really know what they are talking about and those who just talk out of there ***.....
It's easy for me to just not argue with you because I know which out of the two types of folks you are by reading the above post. I'm not calling you stupid..... But your post is EXTREMELY ignorant and I can tell you have no real world experience with these frame turbos or how much heat/flow a rotaries exhaust is capable of for that matter.

Please know what you're talking about before you sit down at your PC and type.

Acctually I do have both on my 6.0 powerstroke. The T6 was taking to long to spool so I added a T60 before hand to help with the low end power. So since no one on here knows me personally please think before speaking or as you said typing.
And I can do the flow charts with the exhaust and flow of both engines and the v10 does produce more exhaust than a rotary through a single sorce sorry to say.

Once again you look like a donkey. You CANNOT compare a rotary to a Diesel. I have a 6.0 PSD as well, but sure as hell would never compare turbo performance from that to my 7.

How is that? I wasnt compareing them at all. You just said I have no experiance with one. My Ford has done 13.2 in the qaurter not bad for a 1 ton drove every day.
If some one can prove this to me I would be gald to say I am wrong, but every one I have driven on a 1.3 liter wont come into its power range till 5k or above.

When you say, a well set up T6. What do you mean? Obviously very ported, but are we talking about using a larger diameter exhaust runner to work with the larger volume?

The reason I ask is that I am sitting on 2 turbos. Both Holset. 1 is a T6 HX55 and the other is a T5 H2E or HX50. I really didn't think that I would be able to make the 55 work as I thought that I would never spool it.

So any help would be awesome. Thanks guys!

Large frame turbos spool with no problem... and you dont have to wait til 5k to see boost...

Build a setup like this and you will see for yourself... Or simply do a search and you will find plenty of very satisfied users..

pictures of the finished engine bay, the car put down 550rwhp on mustang dyno on low boost and pump gas. The car is going back on the dyno and hope to get some better numbers.
