Single turbo gasket

I'm in the process of converting to single turbo. I noticed that the gasket has a hole however my manifold does not. What is this hole for?

Acutally, your arrow is pointing to the hole the stud goes through. The mystery hole is the one above it... don't worry... I'm just being an ***!

Anyway, I believe the hole is for the exhaust gas to get to the EGR valve. I could very well be wrong though.

Oops, I marked the wrong one. Anyway, will I have to drill this manifold?
