single turbo bov problem.PLEASE HELP

Guys,

I recently purchased a synapse/sychronic bov from rx7store to go with my new single turbo setup.I was going to mount/weld it to the aluminium intercooler pipe just below the greddy compression tube (where I have seen most of the guys on the forum set up this way) but the weld on flange that came with it is stainless steel .I'm very dense on welding but as far as I know it ain't gonna happen! Is there a way around this or has anyone got this setup or can help as to how I can mount this???

Thanks.

no i dont, i dont know if they make the alumunium flange but i would consider a very stupid move if they only made a stainless steel one. IF that is the case (which i doubt it) send some pics of the BOV and u might be able to match with another flange

which flange did you choose with your BOV? You can get different types of aluminum flange for your BOV. ( IE Greddy or hks style)

On purchasing I said I was welding the bov to the intercooler pipe and this is the bov that was recommended to me.
Unfortunately the flange that arrived with the bov was stainless steel.
Didn't think I needed to order another flange coz it stated that it came with a weld on flange.

description on the rx7store
"Innovative Piston Actuated Design
Absolutely No Diaphragm
Pull-Type BOV designed to stay closed under boost
Detachable Re-Circulation Discharge and Interchangeable Flange
Includes Stainless Steel Weld-on Flange "

Either try to find a almnium flange or, get a SS intercooler pipe. www.burnsstainless.com

yes. You need to make sure by looking at your BOV.

You'll simply have to order an aluminum flange to match your BOV.
