Single Setup ???

Single Setup ???
I am looking into getting a project 3rd gen, and have a few questions about single setups.
I would be looking for a relatively low power setup. I am thinking 300 hp or less, most likely less. Mainly I'm looking for a reliable and simpler setup, ie easier to troubleshoot problems. My questions with a lower power setup what fuel upgrades are necessary if any? What kit would be best for low lag and not necessarily high hp numbers. Finally, what other engine support mods are necessary other than a PFC?
Thanks in advance

Oh I just thought I would add that I was planning to run 10-12 psi. My thought is rather than rebuilding the stock twins that I could go straight to a single setup instead of messing with the twins. Any thoughts? Oh yes, I also have done a search on this..
Thanks

I think any small single turbo setup....(rx6, to4e,...) will easily give you the power you want at less boost than the stock twins. Engine bay temp will be lower and your setup should be more "reliable". You'll probably want a new fuel pump and maybe 1300cc injectors for peace of mind. Additionally, you'll need all the other stuff like intercooler and so on. You might experience more lag but not too much on a smaller single setup. You might also consider the jspec turbos (280hp with faster spool?). Good luck on your choices.
