single and fm vs sm intercooler (cooling)

i am getting a pineapple streetport (stage 3 oil) and the gt 35/40, along with all the other goodies to go along with it. it wont be done for a few weeks but i'm trying to think ahead. i have been using the m2 medium intercooler for a while and would like to go to a front mount. the only problem is i've done a search and read contradicting things. i've heard that many people have cooling problems since the front mount blocks air flow to their big radiator with fans. others have the stock radiator and are fine. i have the sr ultimate radiator. i live in utah, so summers are hot and dry. plus i'm at 4200 ft. so should i deal with the heat soak and keep the m2 medium, or get the greddy 3-row and hope i dont have cooling issues? many have done the fan mod and i'm planning on doing it to help. i guess i'm asking for opinions on which to do, and if i'm going to have cooling issues if i go front mount. thanks in advance.

You don't have to do the fan mod, you can just have the PFC or Haltech turn the fans on whenever you want. Heat soak is only an issue in stop-and-go driving.

I agree, though, since it's your money, that the V-mount is the way to go!

word the vmount is the bizzomb!

also yea, if you have the PFC or whatever you can just make your fans turn on at like 85C so you won't ever over heat... or just get the apex front mount and put your radiator vertical, apexkw hasn't had any issues at all with heat and its been hotter than blazes down here in florida!

i've been reading alot on the v-mount setup. i would love to do it, but i already have the bigass sr ultimate radiator. if i were to sell both the radiator and my m2 medium i would still have to come up with another $1000 dollars for the group buy price. i'm already spending $6k on top of my warranty's $9700. so i'm a little tapped out right now. what other options do i have since i have the radiator and a decent ic? (without spending alot more money) thanks for the input too guys.
i'll set the pfc for the fans, is there a kit to vertically mount your radiator? i'm considering the apex and the greddy 3-row front mounts. suggestions?

he doesn't know what he is talking about ... the kit came to make everything like stock, but with the fluidyne radiator, it didn't fit like stock, radiator was a bit bigger, so i scrapped the idea, bent aand cut a bunch of the metal brackets that came with the kit and we made our own brackets to make the radiator stand up straight... much nicer looking anyway, the condensor is still in the stock location though,
