More and more i and hearing and reading about the garrett ball bearing turbos, so i thought id ask a simple question since im having a hard time finding the exact answer in a search.

What type of turbonetics turbo would the Garrett GT35/40 be comparable to?

Lets assume the 1.06 hotside A/R on the garrett turbo. Is it like a ts04, a t66, etc? Any ideas on what trim of those turbonetics turbos it would be? I Understand size wise/performance wise how the turbonetics system works but no the garrett, so this would be helpful to me and others! Thanks

 

So no one knows? The only thing i could find with the search is that its supposed to be some type of hybrid t3/t4, but that doesnt seem right since a t3/t4 is always said to be WAY TOO SMALL for a rotary.
