aight heres the deal i have a t78 apu.i love it to death.its a great compromise turbo system.but it hits so hard.now the t51r i know isnt producin full boost til 6000.but it starts at 3000 rpms and flows smoothly into the rpm range.plus damn it gives that bad *** whistle sound.u cant beat that.how do they get that sound?also its just t78 hits so hard.its lag lag lag fully spooled.plus ive been lookin for dyno pics and vids.but someone had to go and erase it.

 

A t51 is bigger than a t78 and I think it'll hit harder than the t78..

 

ok whats the difference betweem the t51r t51 kai and t51 spl. also where is the to4r in this picture.I cant figure this out.

Go here for more information on the HKS turbos. Look at the dimentions and determine how the turbo reacts and where is should be placed sizewise.

so the t51r is the same as the t51r kai right, cause i dont see anything named t51r on the kai. Marc

 

no more regular 51 just 51 kai, 51kai bb, 51spl, and 51spl bb. the diference is the size of the compressor wheel kai has a 90 something mm wheel and the spl has a 102 mm wheel.

 

Anyone have a the original heat shield for the T51 series turbos ???

 

so what is the store here selling. Its the t51r is say.
