The turbo is loud, even without boost. Louder than my old HKS T51R KAI.

Mine can't be any worse that these dumbass kids that roam the streets at all hours of the nights bumping their subwoofers. God...... I'm getting old!

At first i had the exhaust dumped under the car and it wasn't really that loud. Then i ran 4" exhaust out the back with a 4" dynatech muffler and it got louder! Now i have the exhaust exiting out the side and it's somewhere in between. All and all it's really not as loud as i thought it would be

Sounds good Eric, whats wrong? hehe.

It helps to have a 45 degree tailpipe off the muffler aiming down toward the ground- a big difference believe it or not.

Well, apparently nobody makes a 3" silencer..... So it looks like I'm going to toss together a DIY silencer this weekend....

is it true that the anti surge housing makes more noise then the smooth type but it also cuts down on efficiency of the turbo?
