Rx7 problems

i PUT A 88 ENGINE ON MY 86 CAR STARTS RIGHT UP BUT ONCE I HIT

3000 RPM SHUTS OFF .COULD IT BE FUELPUMP,FUELFILTER,AND IDLES FINE.

I had similar problems and it turned out to be a ground that I had forgoten to hook up. You'll have better luck posting your question in the 2nd Gen. section of the forum though. Good Luck
