I spoke to 40OZ several weeks ago. I believe he purchased only the turbo from Tim of RPM performance Centre.

The manifold was from someone else.

The turbo was purchased from GotBoostd7 and the rest of the kit was purchased from Tim at RPM performance. You have it backwards

The problem is Jehan has a GT3540 single turbo FD and I don't...

I remember way back in the day when I was talking to you all about this turbo and you're all like 'no way dude, don't do it...too expensive...can't rebuild them...don't know much about them...not reliable...make more power with a T78...'

lol....let's count the GT3540 threads in the single turbo section now....

How many times must I tell you. You were asking me about the turbonetics ceramic ball bearing turbos. And I have been Anti T78 for close to 2 years now, Plus people on this board are trendy so any new shiny thing will catch their eyes. Look at some of the people trying to get a AEM EMS just because one guys says he makes 680 hp. I just wanna see the 500-700rwhp claims of this GT3540.

How are you only running 7lbs of boost... Wouldn't you only be able to run as low of boost as your wate gates allows to release...?????? Just wondering that all becuase i have the greddy type R and the lowest it will release is like 14lbs i believe.... so even if I lowered the boost to 7lbs it will still release at 14 right..cause the boost controller controls the wastegate... right??? jsut wondering...

i changed the spring rate to 7lbs because i was waiting for my greddy profec b boost controller to come in. your theory is correct though.

fortyounce, have you got this thing on the dyno yet? Let us know if are able to tune this properly with the base fuel map supplied in your PFC (tuned for open intake / cat-back) or if you have to change the base fuel maps with Datalogit.
