I have a ENGINE that has been sitting out of a car for about a year an a half. It is a single turbo conversion 3mm port . I just got a roller to put it in. The ENGINE was in a garage on a crate. It has sitting there with no fluids and no oil in it. When I turn it there still a puff. So I am hoping the compression is good

1. What should i do in order to have it up an running.
2. While it is out is there any way I can check the seals with out opeing it up?
3. Are should i go an change the seals out now while the motor is out of the car?
4. Should i change the vacuum hoses out as well?
5. what is the bst type of hose to use for the single turbo?

Open to any help or opinions
