RC Eng Injectors

I'm looking for feedback on some injectors from RC Eng? Did you ever experience any negative results from using them? What were the issues?

Thanks,

Which are you looking at? Most RC's are Standard Motor Product injectors and we have done quite a few tests of them.

The custom "bored-out" ones. I've been told to stay away from RC Eng, to just use quality Denso brand injectors. Is this true?

Denso's newer injectors are just badass, however they don't really flow enough for most performance use. We have not tested the modified injectors from RC so I can't say from experience but I recall some members had some issues. What size are you looking for?

Im not really looking for a "particular" size, but needed to hear from forum members if there were issues with using RC injectors. I never had any issue running them and was supprised when I heard the stories.

yeah, we see more than we would like to of these modified FD sidefeed injectors... they are not ideal as they stick open or closed more often than not. Spray pattern is also not the greatest. They do however fill a void for a larger side feed injector for those who MUST retain emissions for state laws rather than going to a larger top feed injector made to flow high volumes over a modified injector.

Attached is a video of a modified 850 and a stock 850 on one of our benches.

I ran the 1300cc injectors for a whole summer with over 15 track days and they still work fine. I have now removed them because I needed to go bigger but they were still fine when I took them out.
